My name is Melissa.I have spent the last 10 years working as an Electrical Designer. I lost my job. It's been almost a year. I have exhausted all of my resources, and the only work I have been able to find is a part time consultant position that will be ending at the end of Nov. My inquiries for local and out of state work have been unsuccessful. In addition, I have a physical disability, RSDS (learn more about RSDS at http://rsds.org/) keeps me in constant pain. The medications are numerous and costly. At this stage, I am on the brink of losing my home and car and having my utilities cut off, and I have mounting medical bills I have no idea how to pay. In an effort to keep my home and car, and to keep getting my medications. I have a goal set of $2000 to cover 1 months' bills which will go a long way to getting me caught up at least on the pressing bills like home, car and utilities. If I can raise more than my goal that would be fantastic as well. I believe in paying it forward, in the event that I raise $4000 I will donate 10% of any proceeds over the original $2000 to the National Pain Foundation. (http://www.thenationalpainfoundation.org/helpinghandsdonation.php) All other funds raised will be applied to living expenses and medical expenses. I sincerely hope you enjoy the products you buy to support the cause. The artwork is a Kate McCullough original design that was donated to the cause. (Thank you, mom!)
