The Village Walls 2018 is to be a series of community-oriented murals and painting classes throughout the city of Pueblo. The goal of the project is to work with groups of individuals who could greatly benefit from the learning of large-scale painting. We will take at-risk youth, those with mental disabilities, homeless, addicts, convicts, etc. and teach them how to transmute their emotions and traumas and turn them into murals. The purpose of this project is to share the stories which often get overlooked in our city but still greatly impact the culture of our community. Through telling these stories, giving an emotional outlet, we hopefully will be helping to release some of the traumas that many in our community have suffered. Sales of this shirt will be going towards the building of this project. We will be releasing more shirts and other fundraising opportunities over the next month. We are very excited to share this project with the community and hopefully, we can all experience a bit of growth and help make the city a more interesting and healthy place for us all.
